About us
Reliable Cargo and Couriers Pvt. Ltd., located in Tinkune, Kathmandu, was established in 2009 A.D. It is the pioneer cargo company that introduced the cargo door-delivery concept in Nepal, targeting expatriate Nepalese living in countries across the world. Starting with personal-effects cargo tie-ups in Doha, Qatar — home to one of the largest Nepalese expatriate populations — the company has since expanded its services to Dubai (UAE), Hong Kong, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, Malaysia, South Korea, and Singapore.
Alongside personal-effects handling, the company has grown into good volumes of commercial shipments for both export and import, moved via multiple modes of transport. Commercial cargo importers are among our valued clients, trusting us for hassle-free customs clearance at Nepal's ports. Our connections and networking in the freight import-and-export business have opened up opportunities in couriers and parcels, and we are fortunate to handle a good volume of international and domestic couriers and parcels, both from and within Nepal.
Our sister company, Elysium Aviation Pvt. Ltd., is a registered company handling slot requests and flight-supervision approvals for chartered flights from the airport authority.

Sharad Chandra Kafley
Chairman25 years in the airline industry in key management roles. Established Cathay Pacific's cargo business in the Nepal market, with his most recent role as Airport Manager for Etihad Airways at Kathmandu Airport. A resource person in air-cargo management, he lectures part-time at various colleges, trains airline staff, and is the author of the book “An Introduction to Air Cargo Management”.

Tikaram Poudel
